During the Annual Conference of the Scaffolding Association Australia on 11 November, our project was awarded “The Best Scaffolding Project in NSW” and the prestigious national title of “The Best Scaffolding Project in Australia 2024.” This incredible achievement highlights the commitment, collaboration, and expertise that define Australian Scaffolds.
The Challenges Behind the Billbergia Project
The Billbergia Project wasn’t without its challenges. As one of the most ambitious undertakings by our team, it required the design and installation of a craneable suspended crash deck. The safety and structural demands of this project were immense, and achieving these standards required careful planning, testing, and execution.

A pivotal role in overcoming these challenges was played by Layher Australia, whose advanced software allowed us to test and validate the scaffolding design’s capabilities. This collaboration ensured that our design not only met but exceeded safety standards, providing confidence in the structure’s reliability and performance.
