The kwikstage painted 2 board hop bracket fits into the outside “V” section on the kwikstage scaffold standard. They do not require tie bars to connect them. Generally, using hop up brackets is a more efficient way to build scaffolding.

When first setting up scaffold it is advisable to ensure standards are on the outside of the building line. Install 2 board hop up brackets on the inside of the scaffolding, enabling work without interfering with the building structure. Kwikstage painted 2 board hop up brackets are manufactured using 2 angles welded back to back. That forms an inverted “T” section for secure and correct board location. Complete with a spigot captive wedge assembly for a positive location to a “V” pressing on the standards.
