The CBD stretches southwards for approximately 3 km (2 mi) from Sydney Cove, the site of the first European settlement in the region. The CBD is one of the oldest established areas in the country.

CC Pines Engages Australian Scaffolds for Glass Atrium Replacement Project in Sydney CBD; It is a  leading construction company in Sydney and recently contacted Australian Scaffolds to build a scaffold system for a government building in the heart of Sydney CBD.

The scope of work involved the replacement of a glass atrium over a 6m wide void, which certainly required a safe and stable platform for the workers to access and complete the task.

The project required a team of skilled tradesmen with extensive experience designing and installing scaffolds for complex and challenging projects.

 

Our team worked closely with CC Pines to ensure that the scaffold design met all safety regulations and complied with the client’s requirements.

The scaffold system designed by Australian Scaffolds comprised a series of modular frames, braces, and platforms that provided a stable and secure platform for the workers to operate from.

 

Void Platform in Sydney CBD

One of the most challenging aspects of the project was the need to design and install a rolling gantry that could move along the length of the atrium to provide access to the underside of the glass panels.

The project was completed on time and without any delays, thanks to the meticulous planning and execution by the Australian Scaffolds team.

CC Pines was pleased with the quality of the scaffold system and the team’s professionalism, and they have since engaged Australian Scaffolds for several other projects.
