What are Mobile Scaffolds?
Mobile Scaffolds are freestanding towers mounted on lockable castor wheels. Unlike fixed scaffolding, which is anchored to a building, these units can be easily moved around a job site by a single person.

Do I need a license to use Mobile Scaffolds?
This is the most common question we receive. The short answer is: No, not always.
In Australia, you do not need a scaffolding license (High Risk Work Licence) to erect or dismantle a scaffold if the platform height is under 4 meters. Most of our residential packages fall into this category. However, you must still be a “competent person,” meaning you have read the instructions and understand how to build it safely.
If your platform height exceeds 4 meters, you strictly require a license to carry out the work.
How do I choose the right size?
Choosing the right size depends on the “reach height” you need. A good rule of thumb is to add 2 meters to the platform height to estimate your reach.

Base Unit: Has a 1m platform, giving you a 3m reach. Perfect for indoor ceilings.

Extension Kits: We offer kits to raise your platform to 2m, 3m, or 4m.
If you start with a base unit, you can easily purchase an extension pack later if your job requirements change.
Are they hard to assemble?
Not at all. In fact, our Mobile Scaffolds are designed for speed. The base unit simply unfolds and locks into place, meaning you can have a safe working platform ready in under a minute.
The components are modular and colour coded, so you don’t need any special tools to put them together. Whether you are a seasoned tradie or a home renovator, you will find the assembly process straightforward.
Can I use them on uneven ground?
Standard Mobile Scaffolds are designed for flat, hard surfaces like concrete slabs or timber floors.
However, if you are working outdoors on uneven terrain, we supply adjustable jacks (sold separately). These jacks replace the standard wheels or fit above them, allowing you to level the tower perfectly on a slope. Always use a spirit level to ensure the tower is vertical before climbing.
